Bluejay Story

Built on Integrity, Driven by Excellence: Founded in 2019 by President Blake Jones, Bluejay Construction was born from a singular vision: to establish a construction firm where a thriving company culture and uncompromising craftsmanship go hand-in-hand. After years of industry experience, Blake sought to build more than just structures—he wanted to build a legacy of pride and precision.

The Significance of the Bluejay: The search for a name that captured the company’s spirit was a journey of its own. After many nights of brainstorming, the answer arrived through a moment of clarity and faith. Following a prayer for guidance, Blake arrived at a job site the next morning to find two Bluejays perched and playing on a backhoe. A bit of research revealed that the Bluejay symbolizes resourcefulness, clarity, and determination—the exact pillars Blake wanted. From that morning on, Bluejay Construction had its name and its mission.
